One week down...

I made it through the first week of English Comp 2 no worse for wear. There is a overwhelming feeling of limited time since this class is only 10 weeks and the first week is spent getting acclimated to the material. Can you ever acclimate to doing homework after way too many years away from school? If you were really to look at it classes are really only about 8 weeks. Time is of the essence and I seem to be pushing myself to the limit. There is so much information to read and many tasks that need to be accomplished before you begin to write your paper. I have yet to settle on a topic and should do so really soon so that I leave myself enough time to properly research and begin to work on my thesis.
My goals for today:
Get assigned reading done. Work on initial reply to discussion topic. Prepare for tonight's seminar and attend.

The beginning...

Today I begin my blog rather apprehensively if I may add. I have never truly blogged before, that is if you don't count face book. I also have a live journal account but that account is for my eyes only as I use it as a tool to alleviate stress while I rant about my day. I am however looking forward to moving forward with my education and this is just another step in the right direction. Let the writing begin!
